Associate Photographer Feature: Calla & Carly

The forecast threatened showers, but we came prepared.

Backup locations were scouted, the timeline was flexible, and lens rain hoods were shoved in back pockets, at the ready. However, the gray and rainy morning that lingered as we arrived for prep in Beach Haven, quietly turned into one of the most beautiful summer evenings all season.

The clouds parted and the rain cleared. Just before the ceremony, the couple (with a reputation of being delightfully adventurous), piled onto a friend’s boat along with one of our photographers. They arrived to their ceremony in style, by boat, and on time.

The floral and design team worked fast to turn over the space after the ceremony, transforming it into a glittering evening reception by the bay. After that, golden hour arrived like a gift, resulting in a dreamy set of timeless sunset photos for the couple.

We’ll note it here so we don’t forget it: June 7th, 2025 was pure LBI magic.
