As wedding photographers, we sometimes get to see our work pop up in the pages of bridal magazines, local vendor blogs, and curated wedding inspiration sites. It’s always fun to see our work shown on these platforms, but a recent print feature, courtesy of Ryan Johnson, is easily one of our favorites. One of our studio’s weddings was featured in the October 2025 edition of Thrasher Magazine.

The vibes at this Friday the 13th wedding were effortlessly cool, with a bayside backdrop, a “flash tattoo” station, and skate decks doubling as décor. The bride rocked a stunning black wedding gown, flanked by bridesmaids in matching dark hues. Ryan’s photography style is raw, honest, and edgy; it was the perfect match for this couple.

Getting featured in Thrasher was more than just a publication first for our studio; it was a full-circle moment that brought together Ryan’s life long passion for skate culture and his work as a wedding and portrait photographer.
